Sept 07 Update/News

Well my mini stint with Fish is over. I enjoyed both gigs and felt I played well, barring the obligatory forgetting of words!
Inverness was a wee bit disappointing because the tickets had the wrong time on them, and therefore i played to a somewhat depleted crowd. They made up for it however by being appreciative, which was good!
Back stage was HOT, my rooms air con was on the blink and it was situated above the plant room - so a bit muggy and I managed to doze of for an hour or so. Not such a bad thing given I'd been up since 5am.
Lochgelly was a better gig for me personally as it was seated auditorium, and I am more used to a theatre type situation. My auntie Frances came to see me, and when I had finished the gig, she asked if I had known where the camera was. I thought it was a bit of an odd question, I knew they were filming the gigs but hadn't thought about looking into a camera particularly. I then found out they were streaming me live onto a huge screen behind me!!! I'm kind of glad I didn't know that, but will await the video with baited breath as I know for a fact I make silly faces when I'm singing!

Coming up for me is a heavy stint of studying and working, with hopes to abandon the outside world and record the blimming album starting in November...
