So the Kashmir Klub gig has been and gone... And a very good time was had by all.
Especially me!
Many thanks to all who came down to support, it was greatly appreciated. To
the man whose lighter I am now using, apologies, and I'll get you one soon...
To Andreas, the absent Norwegian, who was supposed to be tuning in on webcast
for the event... silly boy! I said hello to you and everything!!!!
I am hoping the Kashmir will be able to supply me with a video of the gig and
I may then use it on some merchandise here and there, cd roms and on the site...
The Drakes gig after that was quite fun playing with Lift and a band with no
name. Or rather, they decided their name at the end of the night by which time
I was quite tiddly and have now forgotten it.
Sales of Radiaxial have risen since my weekend with Fish- funny how rumours
spread... I can say that for those who hoped I would do backing vocals for Fish's
tour will be disappointed. He thought my voice wouldn't suit the backing vocals
he required. However he would like to work with me on the album. That is in summer
so we shall have to see how that pans out (if at all). Plans change like the wind!
Locally - I am doing an interview with Del Franklin on Easter Sunday Evening
(round 8.30 ish). I will be playing a song or two and having an informal chat
which should be a laugh. I will get a recording of it for anyone out of town who
is interested in hearing it. On the 11th of April I am playing in the Dundee heat
of the Kirkmichael International Guitar Festival which should be fun! I am playing
with 2 Dundee based bands and I hear they are very good so I might have my work
cut out for me!
If I win the competition I will be playing at the Kirkmichael Guitar Festival
on the 25th May. Fingers-crossed!
There should be a gig at Triple Kirks coming up and I will post confirmation
when I know.
