<Extricated from the email newsletter of July 2005>

Well...we've had a lot of fun over the past two months! First off was a gig in Stevenage with Midge, which was as always very enjoyable. Then it was off up to Aberdeen for a gig in the Moorings bar, marking the release of 'Live at the Moorings'. Support was provided by Emma, and her set was great as usual! Thanks to everyone who came down/bought the CD/sent messages of support etc. The gig went well and I slid in a couple of new numbers which seemed to go over nicely!
Then it was time for the Keith Chaos festival. What a day! Very very very hot, in fact I got burned a lovely lobster colour. Everyone enjoyed themselves and hopefully there will be another one next year.
Since then, I've been working on arrangements, planning the next US tour (for March) and checking out acts down here. Two I have really enjoyed are Streebeck and an artist called Alex P Roberts who has some tracks at Reel Sound Music.

Next up is Redhill, then a private party, then Dresden Dolls in August, but keep your eyes peeled, there may be more gigs posted soon.

I was recently reviewed in the Dutch Progressive Rock Pages... (they were mostly nice!)

Well, that's about it for now!

Take care,

jo
