<Extricated from the email newsletter of April 2002>
So it's been another interesting month in the Jo Household. Radiaxial is now on
sale in 1 Up - Aberdeen. Sales are going well so far, and I will be looking further
afield to other shops round the country.
I was down London way again this month, when I played the Kashmir Klub. The
Kashmir is a glorified "Drakes Bar" near Madame Tussauds. It's a nice
wee place and it was packed out for the show. People came down from Aberdeen and
other far flung places to see the gig and it was gratefully appreciated.
The actual gig went well too and I only forgot ONE line!!! For those who haven't
attended a gig, much of the fun is in deciding which song I will forget. The Kashmir
also put the show on the net but I couldn't get a hold of a video of the event.
In any case, much fun was had by all (including me).
I came back with my boyfriend the next day after a nice relaxing afternoon
in a Japanese restaurant, to prepare for the next gig (at Drakes). It was a bit
of a laugh as Lift were also playing (a band I used to know way back).
The Radio interview set for the 31st March ended up on the 7th April due to
the passing of the Queen Mum. The show went well, apart from a brief reference
to collapsing in Fish's bathroom. I played Page 94 and Lady Day.
Tattie bye
